We are reviewing the Maya Medical website for independent access to information and enquiries. Our implementation targets Israeli Standard SI 5568 Part 1 at level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA is an additional design goal. Evaluation is in progress; complete conformance has not yet been established.
Using the site
A skip link leads to the main content. Menus and enquiry dialogs support keyboard navigation and Escape to close. Form fields have labels and linked error messages. Your browser’s zoom and text-size settings remain available.
The wheelchair button opens accessibility display options. It can enlarge text, increase contrast, underline links and pause decorative motion. Reset restores the site’s default display. How display preferences are stored.
Motion and content
The site follows your device’s reduced-motion setting. Use “Pause motion” in the accessibility menu to stop decorative movement throughout the site, including changing equipment images and moving manufacturer logos. On larger screens, these sequences also have local pause controls. Information and enquiry actions remain available when motion is paused, and decorative motion pauses while a menu or enquiry dialog is open.
The equipment and manufacturers pages present all their content in normal reading order on every screen. No category selection is required. Content remains available without animation or JavaScript.
Accessibility review
Automated browser checks and visual reviews support the website, but they do not replace testing with assistive technology or physical devices. Dedicated screen-reader testing, physical iPhone and Android checks, and a final review of applicable accessibility requirements are still in progress.
